Ronald McDonald House Night at Honda Center
Thank you Anaheim Ducks!
Hockey fans came out on Wednesday, February 3rd to support the Orange County Ronald McDonald House and watch as the Anaheim Ducks beat the Detroit Red Wings 3-1. As part of Ronald McDonald House Night, fans had a chance to win a signed 2009-2010 team jersey. Lucky fan Irene Morris won the jersey.
Ronald McDonald himself was on hand! Wild Wing and the Power Player girls wore t-shirts promoting the upcoming Walk for Kids at Honda Center on April 11th. The Walk for Kids is a family-friendly 5K (3.1 mile) walk to raise awareness and funds for programs provided by the Orange County Ronald McDonald House.
Deborah Levy (Executive Director) and Kevin Starkey (OCRMH Board Member and VP of Operations at Honda Center) were interviewed on Fox Sports West during the game. Isabelle Villasenor (OCRMH Board Member and McDonald's Restaurant Owner) was honored as a "Community Hero" during a pre-game ceremony.
It was a great night! Thank you Anaheim Ducks, Honda Center, and the fans for supporting your Ronald McDonald House.
