The sell-out event was a huge success. Senior PGA European Tour Professional Hank Woodrome helped kick off the morning with an informative short game clinic. Golfers were treated to a fun Longest Drive Contest courtesy of Cleveland Golf, and Hole in One Contest courtesy of Sterling BMW. A fabulous lunch was provided by McDonald’s Restaurants, Coca Cola, and Sweet Life Cookies. In the afternoon, tunes of steel drum music filled the banquet room as golfers and their guests enjoyed cocktails and browsed the great selection of silent auction items. The spirited live auction began when auctioneer Jim Nye sold a glass of tap water for $175!
